Thanks for taking a look at what Youcamp has to offer. Youcamp is special – we list hundreds of authentic and interesting properties across Australia that welcome visitors. They may offer a single, private campsite through to larger properties with camping grounds, cabins, outdoor activities, guided tours and extras like farm produce, firewood and equipment hire. We recommend you take a few minutes to go through the following tutorial which highlights some of the steps you’ll take as a guest.

Find exactly what you want
Many people who head off to the great outdoors are looking for an experience that is particular to them. They may want a campfire or to bring their pets, escape crowds, find peace and quiet or make lots of noise. Commercial tourism sites are often developed to fit in a lot of people and have restrictions that can limit choice. Private landowners can set their own rules, which means that a guest has a greater chance of finding exactly what they want and where they want it.

Create an account
To get started, go to the Youcamp homepage and click on Login to create an account. If you haven’t used Youcamp before, click through to the Sign Up page. The email address you use is where all your notifications will be sent. Verify your email address and then Login. Fill in your profile – hosts want to know who you are.

Start looking
On the homepage, enter the location you want to visit and then refine this search by number of guests, booking dates and the type of accommodation, activities, tours and amenities you’re looking for. You can make an informed decision based on photos, descriptions and property reviews.

Using the calendar
Use the booking modal to select the accommodation, camping or activity you want to book. Then select the number of adults, children and the check in and check out dates. The calendar will now show you what is available and the price.

Make contact
Guests have 3 ways to contact a host – they can send an enquiry first, they can make an instant booking or they can send a booking request. A booking request has to be ‘accepted’ or ‘declined’ within 24 hours by the host. You aren’t charged until a booking is confirmed.

How do I make a
booking payment?
You pay for your booking via credit card in full and in advance but you aren’t charged until the booking is confirmed. Youcamp accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and debit cards. You can save your card details and add more payment methods as required.

Booking is confirmed
Your confirmed bookings appear in My Trips, as well as the directions to the property and your booking receipt. You can keep communicating with the host via the Youcamp messaging system to make sure everything is organised and you’re both comfortable.

Last minute changes
Two extra friends want to join your trip? No worries. Just login and change your booking – you’ll be billed the extra amount when it’s confirmed.

I need to cancel my trip
Cancellations are easily managed on Youcamp. Login and cancel your booking – your refund is paid automatically and the amount will depend on which cancellation policy the host has chosen.

Property reviews
After you’ve completed a stay, you can submit a review of the property. Reviews help to ensure that hospitality standards are met.
